Unfortunately I start this year at 20 stone 7lb’s – having put on the weight I lost during last year.
This has always been one of my biggest problems – yoyo dieting. Which i’m sure a lot of you will understand and probably suffer with yourselves.
I knew that I wanted to re-start my diet and give it a kickstart in January but wasn’t entirely sure how.
Whilst browsing and studying up on different diets – I came across BodyChef.
In particular the Low GI Plan – which is good for people like myself who struggle to last between meals without snacking as the sugars and carb’s break down slower leaving you fuller for longer.
Whilst it appears at first glance to be similar to some of the other diets i’ve tried before – providing home delivery of all your meals etc.. This one appears to be a lot healthier.
For 2 weeks I will be trialling the Low GI Plan:
With 2 fresh food deliveries a week – all that needs to be added is a little milk and low/zero calorie drinks.
With an average days meals looking like this:
Breakfast 1 fruit salad low fat natural yoghurt & seeds
Snack small portion nuts
Lunch 1 crisp breads, egg mayonnaise & soft fruit
Snack pear
Dinner 2 spicy mince tortilla, yoghurt dressing with carrot salad
Desert 2 fruit jelly
I am really looking forward to starting on this diet and blogging about my progress.
Keep your eye’s out for my first blog post with photos of what I receive in my first delivery!

way to go Sandy! Lets do this! love char
have you tried thinking slimmer? would recommend it as a long term “change your life never feel like your on a diet” ? it alters the way you think about food and it has cut down the amount I eat by probably 50% of my calories in a day.

sorry just a suggestion
I use ‘My Fitness Pal’ online Sandy. All other ‘diets’ have eventually failed for me. I now know that I’ll have to be more aware of what I’m eating for the rest of my life…. either that or get off my bum and do some exercise to burn excess calories. ;o)
