The last few days have really flown by as I haven’t really has the time to blog – let alone corner my partner to weigh me.
I finally managed to grab him this evening before my evening meal and in 9 days on the BodyChef diet I am really amazed to be able to say that i’ve lost:
1 stone exactly!
So I’m now weighing in at 19 stone 7lb’s.
As thrilled as I am – I do want to say that a lot of this weight i’ve lost will be from fluid I was retaining as prior to starting this diet I was feeling very sluggish and bloated.
All that has now gone – I feel no bloating and my energy levels are fantastic. I am not feeling hungry at all and apart from the sneaky bit of chocolate the other evening 200cals worth on my cinema trip haven’t strayed from the diet plan at all.
Let’s take a look at how the last few days have been and what i’ve been eating:
After a nice lie in – which was lovely now I am sleeping better. I enjoyed my breakfast of muesli and yogurt – although this is quite a repetetive breakfast on the plan – it does change a little – I really am starting to enjoy it.
The afternoon involved an impromptu visit to my partners parents – who has put on a buffet lunch – in a very quick move I ate my lunch before we left and took along my snacks so I wouldn’t be tempted.
I managed very well but have to confess the moment doughnuts and trifle etc.. made an appearance I sat in the conservatory out of the way!
So whilst the family members enjoyed their buffet I had: Hummus (20g portion) 2 oatcakes, sunflower seeds, walnuts and a bottle of diet pepsi.
My evening meal was Coq au Vin and new potatoes followed by a strawberry fruit fool for dessert – which was all very very tasty.
I got to enjoy one of my normal binge foods today – biscuits. Normally this would be a problem for me as I’d sit and eat an entire pack – not a problem with this diet plan as there are just 2 ginger nut’s in a little baggy – so no temptation to overeat.
Lunch was a bit different today. Ryvita topped with skinless chicken strips and a little salad
I’ve now had pear a few times – it was the first time ever eating pear when starting this diet and I must say i’m finding them very nice. The quality and freshness of the whole fruit when it arrives is really very good – I’ve not spotted any bruising or over ripeness at all.
My evening meal is one of my favourite meals on an evening out at a pub – BBQ Chicken – which was again super tender and moist despite being cooked in advance, it was a skinless breast and I had it with rice and a tomato and onion salad.
I’m not missing chips at all – which is what I would normally have with BBQ chicken in the pub – which is great.
I didn’t eat anything at all today until gone 2pm – I just wasn’t hungry til then – so I had my breakfast along with my lunch. Chicken strips and ryvita with salad leaves – it did come with a little pot of salad dressing which wasn’t to my taste so I didn’t use it. Breakfast today was a grapefruit and orange salad and a yogurt which I had as a dessert with my lunch.
